Pepperfire Hot Chicken

Top choice in East Nashville

Since 2010, East Nashville’s Pepperfire has been slinging spicy bird to heat seekers who appreciate a creative twist on classic hot chicken. A thin, crispy batter with a distinctive spice blend lends a rich, complex smokiness that sets Pepperfire's chicken apart. Tasty sides include crinkle fries, fried okra and mac and cheese. And there's cold, local beer to ease the heat.

The dining room, decked in hot chicken-themed pop-art prints and murals, features a pair of long wooden tables, where you rub elbows with fellow fowl lovers under the glow of exposed filament-bulb lighting. Online ordering for takeaway is available, but we advise eating it fresh.
