An unrepentantly hipster coffee joint (coffee $3.50-6.50) housed inside a huge former transmission shop. Some of America's best beans are put through processes no one but fiendish coffee nerds would understand (V60, Kone, Chemex etc), while a vintage turntable spins anything from AC/DC to Smokey Robinson (no touching the vinyl). Prepare to wait – the art shall not be compromised.
The espresso comes courtesy of the famed, rare (and hand-built!) $18,000 Slayer machine. You'll find additional locations in Germantown and the Gulch.
