This whopping 2888-room hotel is a universe unto itself, the largest non-casino resort in the USA. Why set foot outdoors when you can ride a flatboat along an artificial river, eat sushi beneath faux waterfalls in an indoor garden, or sip whisky in an antebellum-style mansion, all inside the hotel's three massive glass atriums?

The 2018 addition of SoundWaves, a $90 million indoor-outdoor water park, brought yet another family activity to the complex, though admission is reserved for resort guests. Decorations around Christmastime are top-notch and draw in thousands of gawkers every year, no hotel reservations required.

There's a $20 daily resort fee, and self-parking is $32.
