Perhaps Tucson's most famous hotel, this is where infamous bank robber John Dillinger and his gang were captured during their 1934 stay, when a fire broke out. Built in 1919 and beautifully restored, this charismatic place feels very modern, despite period furnishings such as rotary phones and wooden radios (no TVs). There are a popular cafe, bar and club on-site.
Avoid the Club Rooms (above the club, which has frequent live acts) if you're noise-sensitive.
