Alley Cantina

It figures that the oldest building in Taos is a comfy bar. Built almost four centuries ago by Pueblo Indians, and briefly the office of New Mexico’s first US Territorial Governor, it’s now a rambling, friendly place with a poolroom, a full pub-grub menu, and live music from zydeco to rock and jazz almost nightly.
