Los Poblanos

Top choice in Albuquerque

This amazing 20-room inn, on a 1930s rural ranch that's a National Historic Place, is five minutes’ drive north of Old Town. Near the Rio Grande, it’s set amid 25 acres of gardens, lavender fields and an organic farm. Gorgeous rooms feature kiva fireplaces, while produce from the farm is served at Campo, the on-site restaurant earning national acclaim for its wood-fired fare.

Breakfast is not included in the room price, but you can dine at Campo or pick up something quick at the Farm Store. For cocktails, it's hard to beat the rustically chic Bar Campo. The lavender blooms mid-June through July.
