Coastal Kitchen has become a Capitol Hill legend since its inception in 2012 with its culinary theme (fish) and variations (a different geographical influence is introduced quarterly). Weekend 'Blunch' is mega, as is the recently added oyster bar that complements the favorites: Dungeness crab cakes, Alaskan cod, Taylor shellfish and an epic sardine-heaped pasta.
The decor's kind of interesting Euro-cafe meets sleek Pacific Northwest lounge and there's piped language lessons in the toilets (seriously!).
