So, imagine a 1950s traveler who sets out to experience Southeast Asia and Africa, picking up art and curios along the way. Now think about this traveler repatriating to Palm Springs in the 1970s and throwing massive parties involving a giant disco ball, Chinese food and innovative, exotic cocktails.

Finally, think of this 'traveler' not as a person, but as a bar ensconced in San Francisco's Mission District. That's Bon Voyage. And the people behind sister cocktail joint Trick Dog actually came up with this persona to inform the design and menu choices. Just go, m'kay?
