Brava's been producing women-run theater for 30-plus years, hosting acts from comedian Sandra Bernhard to V-day monologist Eve Ensler, and it's the nation's first company with a commitment to producing original works by women of color and LGBTQ+ playwrights. Brava honors the Mission's Mexican heritage with music and dance celebrations, plus hand-painted show posters modeled after Mexican cinema billboards.
