Here since the '70s, this neighborhood joint is decorated with bric-a-brac, progressive bumper stickers, homages to The Beatles and pictures of Whoopi Goldberg – she once worked here as a dishwasher. The kitchen serves American classics like stacks of pancakes, 10 different types of burgers and big-bowl specialties; chili, soup and mac 'n' cheese.
