There are a few surprises in this elegant place, including a delicious dinner starter of Thai-curry mussels. Dinner is a serious affair, with Montana meatloaf, and pistachio-and-parmesan-crusted trout. For dessert, try the ‘Yellowstone caldera’: a warm chocolate-truffle torte with a suitably molten center. Reservations only necessary in winter. From mid-September through October hours remain the same, except dinner is served until 9pm.
The attached bar (open until 11pm) has fireside seating in winter and serves restaurant starters if you just fancy a light dinner.
