Grant Village

Yellowstone National Park

The 300 condo-like boxes with standard hotel interiors at Grant Village were once dismissed by author Alston Chase as ‘an inner-city project in the heart of primitive America, a wilderness ghetto.’ They do happen to be the closest lodging to Grand Teton for those getting an early start.

The dark corridors are a bit grim and some rooms are smallish and don't have much natural light, making them feel quite overpriced.
