La Colombe

Many cafes now carry the beans from these excellent local coffee roasters (since 1994), but this is the original, occupying a pleasant space near Rittenhouse Sq and serving espresso and pour-over brews. There's free sparkling water on tap and bakes, including some that are gluten-free.
