Polymath Park

This wooded property has one Frank Lloyd Wright home – Duncan House – and three others designed by Wright apprentices, all available for rent overnight. Don't expect too much Wright flair; the house is one of his modest Usonia-style designs, and the furniture is standard mid-century modern. Only the Duncan house has air-conditioning.

Duncan House, impressively, was taken apart piece by piece from its original site in Illinois, transported 600 miles and put back together to help build out this small resort. There's a restaurant, and the houses are open for tours, too.
