Revel in every locally wrought detail at this boutique darling, where none of the 36 rooms are exactly the same. Featuring hand-painted headboards, living plants and flower window boxes, and fixtures salvaged from nearby old buildings, rooms range from 220-sq-ft 'micro studios' to suites and a penthouse. There are complimentary espresso drinks, Atari sets and Dutch bikes, plus weekend wine tastings.
Just about everything in the hotel is sourced from the region, from Pendleton bathrobes and signature-scented toiletries to the lighting, wallpaper and mattresses; there's even a selection of purchasable books curated by a different McMinnville resident in each room. Great for groups, the 'bunkhouse' room features six cubby beds built into the wall, plus a king-size bed and two bunks.
The on-site restaurant, Red Hills Kitchen, is an elevated iteration of Dundee's Red Hills Market and also has a gourmet grab-and-go shop.
