Davidson River Campground

North Carolina Mountains

At the southern edge of the most spectacular stretch of Pisgah National Forest, 5 miles north of downtown Brevard, this riverside campground – tubing optional! – is better suited to tenters than RVs. The facilities are relatively basic, but the wooded setting is idyllic. Silence is requested, and insisted on, from 10pm to 7am.

Hike trails of all levels or just sling a hammock between the trees.
