Parkway Craft Center

North Carolina Mountains

The Parkway Craft Center, where the Southern Highland Craft Guild sells superb crafts, is housed in a 1901 Colonial Revival mansion that’s directly accessible from the parkway and also holds a small museum. The former home of Moses H Cone, who made his fortune in denim, it surveys an estate where hikers and equestrians share 25 miles of carriage roads.
