Momo Sushi Shack

Brooklyn: Williamsburg, Greenpoint & Bushwick

Three shared tables occupy this elegantly rough-hewn spot, where sushi is served with a spin (guacamole rolls, salmon bowls flecked with yuzu wasabi and beetroot) and the decor is a deliberately unpolished marriage of bamboo and bare walls. The food is staggeringly good, offering super-fresh classics and contemporary creations, like vegan gyoza. There is a good list of sakes.
