In a serene setting on Fort Pond, this uber-hip, Brazilian-owned hotspot is full of colorful public spaces inside and out, with a focus on emerging art (Incubus singer Brandon Boyd's handy work is one of many displayed here) and 20 wonderful rooms with patios and hammocks.
But forget all that. This is the end-all-be-all of Long Island nightlife. Wednesday nights draw hordes of celebrities and cool kids for local songbird hero Nancy Atlas; and Friday through Sunday it's a live music madhouse, attracting the hippest, boldest and most beautiful of the East End for intimate A-list shows (John Legend, Lupe FIasco, Thievery Corporation, Mavis Staples). If you're not guest-listed, don't even bother – unless you're staying here!
