Its decor seems lost in another decade and the 29 rooms are a bit dark, but the Irishman's place is a comfortable bet with helpful staff (they even pumped up our bicycle tires). There's an on-site bar-restaurant and you're walking distance to the fishing pier and restaurants, and away from the madness of 'downtown' Montauk during summer. Fully furnished apartments, too.
