Hampton Chutney Co

Top choice in The Hamptons

Considering the nearest Indian restaurant is in Queens (well, probably not, but there are certainly none around here), the mile-long South Indian dosas (stuffed lentil crepes) served in this wildly popular Amagansett option are shockingly authentic save the gourmet ingredients. You can go for classic (spiced potato), but why not add spinach, roasted tomatoes and Monterrey jack cheese?

The chutneys (coconut, mango, cilantro etc) and lassis (yogurt-based drinks in peach, strawberry and mango) are also great. Rub elbows with the rich and privileged in the wonderful shady outdoor seating area looking out to pretty Amagansett Sq.
