Upper West Side & Central Park

Just steps from Central Park, this grand art deco building has several floors – 8th to the 13th – of basic but clean rooms, most with shared facilities. Some renovated doubles on floors 12 and 13 have en suites. Guests can access a large, old-school gym with racquetball courts, a pool and a sauna.

Four other YMCAs in town offer accommodation, including branches in Midtown, the Upper East Side and Harlem.
