Friendly and simple, this 20-room gay inn is tidy but a bit worn. Most rooms have small walk-in closets (with a small TV and refrigerator) and sinks. When the weather is nice, the rooftop deck sees some nude sunbathing. The smaller rooms have shared baths, while the deluxe suite has a private bath and private access to the back garden.
A continental breakfast and a regular coffee and tea service in the lobby are included in the price. The hotel's lobby and common spaces also serve as a gallery for the artworks of hotel founder and Chelsea icon Mel Cheren.
