Midtown

Steeped in history (James Dean lived in room 803 in the early 1950s), this classic hotel radiates Old New York charm and an enviable location in the heart of Midtown. It's a wonderfully atmospheric place, complete with a small oak library, their recently refurbished cocktail salon Lantern's Keep and an elegant on-site restaurant.

Some rooms on the top three of its dozen floors face the Chrysler Building through a canyon of Midtown buildings. Softly colored and graced with classic wooden furniture, all rooms feature Frette linens and small, Italian-marble bathrooms. It has a small fitness center and sauna, as well as a complimentary shoe-shine service. Valet parking only.
