Blakely

Midtown

The dark-brick facade may look a bit bleak, but inside the Blakely delivers friendly service and comfortable rooms accented with cherrywood and a conservative, faintly baronial style. Continental breakfast is included in the daily $23 facilities fee. The Blakely's true forte, however, is location: a short stroll from Central Park, boutique-studded Fifth Avenue and the glitter of Broadway.

Unlike nearly all area peers, the Blakely does have a number of floors where smoking in the rooms is allowed, as well as non-smoking floors.
