Palace Hotel

New Mexico

A restored 1882 hotel, the Palace is an atmospheric stopover. All rooms feature old-fashioned Territorial-style decor; they vary from small (with a double bed) to three-room suites (king- or queen-size beds). Expect some historical quirks: No elevator, water pressure in the showers may be low and wi-fi is iffy in some rooms. Continental breakfast is included, however, and the owners are friendly.
