Cimarron Rose

New Mexico

If you’re looking for a peaceful alternative to the chains of Grants and Gallup, and want to stay green, pay a visit to the Cimarron Rose. Conveniently located on Hwy 53 between El Malpais and El Morro in the Zuni Mountains, this B&B offers three Southwestern-style suites, with full kitchens, pine walls and hardwood floors.

The innkeepers take pride in being ecofriendly. Rainwater is collected and used as utility water, and grey water is reused to water trees. Two goats and a horse organically fertilize Cimarron’s perennial gardens, which provide food and shelter for more than 80 species of birds.

Pet fee is $25 per night.
