The Oviedo family has been carving native woods since 1739. Today the Oviedo Gallery, which features the carvings, is housed in the centuries-old family farm. The gallery also displays and sells a wide range of bronze sculptures, made in the on-site foundry. You may find yourself unexpectedly buying one of the bronze animal fetishes – most sell for under $100.
