New Hampshire’s oldest inn (1789) has 14 rooms, each with its own charms. Room prices vary according to size and features: some include dome ceilings (ones that used to be part of a ballroom), fireplaces and private patios. The cozy Fox Tavern dining room is open to the public for dinner (Tuesday to Saturday) and features locally grown fare.

The pet fee is $50 per stay. Breakfast included in rates.
