Renaissance Providence Hotel

Built as a Masonic temple in 1929, this monster stood empty for 77 years before it opened as a hotel in 2007. Some rooms overlook the Rhode Island State House and are decorated in forceful colors that attempt, with limited success, to evoke Masonic traditions.
