State Theatre

This gorgeous old gem is the kind of old-school performance hall every great city deserves. The State is accented with art-deco and Moorish influences, and it's enjoyable even without seeing a show. That said, a lot of musical acts and comedy performances grace this main stage; check the online calendar before you get to Portland.
