Birchwood Inn

A pretty hilltop inn a couple of blocks from the town center, Birchwood occupies the oldest (1767) home in Lenox. The 11 spacious rooms vary in decor: some swing with a vintage floral design, others are more country classic, but all are romantic and luxurious. Deluxe rooms feature king-size beds and wood-burning fireplaces.

An afternoon tea of homemade cookies, cakes and hot cider or iced tea is served in a fireside drawing room or on the sunny porch. Breakfast is another highlight, with several courses of delicious treats like baked pear with mascarpone and pumpkin seed crunch, and avocado, bacon and brie rolled omelet.
