Wallis Sands State Park

This popular beach – it has 500 parking spots – has a wide sandy coastline with views of the Isles of Shoals. Besides the bathhouses and a snack shop, there are grassy lawns for children's games, making this the top spot for families with smaller kids. Lifeguards on duty June through August.
