Sip on Las Vegas' liquid history at Atomic Liquors, a popular drinkery on Downtown's famed (sometimes infamous) main thoroughfare. Opened in the 1950s, it's the oldest continually operating bar in the city outside of a casino or hotel, and has been revamped into a hip nook for craft cocktails.
It takes its energetic moniker from the Cold War decades when nuclear weapons were tested northwest of the city in the Mojave Desert. The neon signage is regarded as some of the finest in a town known for extravagant lights, and the adjacent Kitchen at Atomic serves high-quality gastropub cuisine.
