Now in its 32nd year, this elegant and meticulously run five-room B&B is ideally located in a shady spot just a few blocks south of the town center. The owners, Rhonda and Chris, are charming storytellers and fonts of knowledge regarding Whitefish and Glacier. They've retained the home's original woodwork, maple floors and light fixtures from 1923. Enjoy art-deco rooms, log fires blazing in the living room on cold days, and gourmet breakfasts prepared by a chef (preceded by a wake-up coffee tray delivered to your room).
Named after the beautiful ridge in Glacier National Park, the inn's walls are lined with original prints of the park from the early decades of the 20th century.
Breakfasts can include several kinds of citrus fruit, as well as scones and frittata.
Two-night minimum in summer; rates are lower at other times of year. The suite sleeps up to four.
