Festive San Chez sprawls over two floors. Colorful, Picasso-esque paintings hang on exposed brick walls, while mosaic-encrusted columns line the middle of the breezy room. Spanish-tinged breakfast dishes (shrimp and grits with Manchego cheese, omelets with chorizo) hit the tables until 2pm, then it’s tapas time, when baked goat cheese, sauteed squid and Serrano ham fly from the kitchen.
It's a lively stop for coffee, sangria and/or dessert. Vegetarian options are plentiful. San Chez also caters to those with food allergies, providing menus for gluten-, soy- and lactose-free dining (plus others).
