Alexis Bittar

Venice, Marina Del Rey & Playa del Rey

High-end women's jewelry known for Bittar's use of lucite, which is hand carved and painted in his Brooklyn studio. Some of it looks like stone. He started by selling it on the streets in Manhattan, where he was picked up by the MoMA store.

Now he's a stylist for major magazine shoots and offers a nice collection of vintage jewelry, some of which dates back to the 1780s! That piece will cost you $2200.
