The restaurant at the top-notch Malibu Beach Inn could get by on its ocean-view deck, but fortunately it doesn't. Chefs bypass the farmers markets and go directly to the farmers and fishermen to make their seasonal salads, seafood and fish. The sommelier has been honored by Wine Spectator, and the bar offers a real LA mixologist experience.
If all that weren't enough, there's a wonderful collection of art on the walls from 20th- and 21st-century masters.
