Elm Street Brewing

Indiana

Muncie does't offer a whole lot for visitors beyond Ball State University, but it does have a burgeoning brewery scene. This relative newcomer (it opened in 2016) inside a 19th-century former icehouse is a requisite stop for beer tourists.

Thirty taps fuel the revelry in the massive, industrial-cozy space, including staples like their juice Citranot IPA, plus plenty of Midwestern and international choices. There's good food as well (mains $12 to $24) including parmesan-crusted pork tenderloin, steaks or brick-oven pizza.
