Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay

Kona Coast

The family-friendly Sheraton has a sleek modern design with hip boutique-hotel appeal. Despite having more than 500 rooms, an oceanfront bar and restaurant with fire pits and live music (usually 6pm to 9pm nightly), and a massive pool with a spiral waterslide, unfortunately there's no beach. Manta rays gather off the rocky shoreline at night.

A mandatory resort fee (over $30 per night) covers self-parking, wi-fi, unlimited Keauhou Trolley rides, a morning yoga class and Hawaiian cultural activities.
