Hayama

Hayama imparts that feeling of authenticity you get when the kitchen and service staff don't speak much English, and most of the clientele speaks fluent Japanese. This izakaya (Japanese pub serving tapas-style food), tucked into a nondescript strip mall, serves huge platters of katsu, strong sake and delicious tempura, but note that it is not a spot for sushi.
