This simple, clean hostel is a welcome addition to the slim pickings that are the Kailua-Kona budget-accommodations scene. While $40 is a bit steep for the dorm rooms, the private chambers are about as good value for money as you'll find. Note that it's located about 2 miles south of downtown Kailua-Kona.
