Summit Brewing Company

Minnesota

While Summit is one of the state's largest brewers, its beer hall is welcomingly low-key. Inside it's a big open space with communal tables, large windows and around 14 beers on tap. Outside there's a patio that overlooks the river bluffs. Try the Keller pils, oatmeal stout or anything in the experimental Unchained series. Everything is really reasonably priced.

Live music, stand-up comedians, movie screenings and food trucks add to the scene most nights. Free hour-long tours must be reserved online in advance.
