Jerman's Cafe

Cleveland

Jerman's is Cleveland's second-oldest bar. Slovenian immigrant John Jerman opened it in 1908, and his family still runs it. It's a terrific, old-school dive, with a pressed zinc ceiling, Indians baseball games flickering on the TVs and just a few beers on tap (usually a German lager). Friendly barkeeps and regulars are happy to share stories of the old days.
