Soul Bar

Georgia

Dark and seedy, Soul Bar is a James Brown–dedicated Broad St staple lit by little more than a beckoning red light at the entrance and rows of colorful Christmas lights lining its walls. The long bar has seen it all, including Brown himself, who is said to have shot a mean game of pool here on occasion.

Brown cover acts are often featured and the place gets jam-packed.
