Atlanta

Presidents have dined here (George W Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama), movies have been filmed here (We Are Marshall), millions have eaten here: this iconic greasy spoon (at it since 1928) is the world's largest drive-in. In response to its famous call to order ('What'll Ya Have?'), you can order dishes such as chili dogs and triple-stack bacon cheeseburgers.

The most famous order? Combo number one (two chili dogs, onion rings and a frosted-orange milkshake/slushie hybrid) although there's a whole lotta other stuff that will clog your arteries but please your palate (especially if your palette is drunk). The franchise has expanded to several additional Atlanta and North Georgia locations over the years but here sits the original.
