Aloft Atlanta Downtown

Atlanta

Atlanta's supremely located Aloft hotel is steps from Centennial Olympic Park and peppered with personality (rare for the city's hotels). From the odd but interesting outdoor front patio to a colorful lobby brimming with glittery pop art from a formerly homeless artist and a purple-felt pool table, its playful attitude is refreshing and fun. Rooms are more spacious than most.

Due to its size (almost double that of a normal Aloft with 254 rooms), it was a pilot program for the brand's new takeout-pot-breakfast concept, which launched in 2018, and it's one of the few with a happy hour seven days a week ($5 drinks and $5 food items) from 4pm to 6pm. Parking runs $30 to $35.
