Columbia Restaurant

Top choice in Tampa

Celebrating its centennial in 2015, this Spanish Cuban restaurant is the oldest in Florida. Occupying an entire block, it consists of 15 elegant dining rooms and romantic, fountain-centered courtyards. Many of the gloved waiters have been here a lifetime, and owner Richard Gonzmart is zealous about authentic Spanish and Cuban cuisine.

Reserve ahead for twice-nightly flamenco Monday to Saturday, and look out for one helluva good birthday party. Even if you can't dine here, it's worth a visit just to take a selfie at the exquisite Don Quixote-themed tiled wall outside.
