B Ocean Resort

Fort Lauderdale

Defining the southern end of Seabreeze Blvd, this hotel straddles the uberpopular South Beach and offers breezy ocean views from the majority of its airy rooms. Built by M Tony Sherman in 1956, it looks like a giant cruise ship tethered to the sidewalk.

Its 'hull,' the Wreck Bar, is a historic landmark, and offers porthole views on the underwater world of the swimming pool. Come at the weekend and you'll be able to catch the mermaid show at 7pm. There's an adult-only burlesque at 10pm.
