La Pasadita

Wicker Park, Bucktown & Ukrainian Village

The national press crowned La Pasadita's burrito as one of America's 10 best. They are absolutely behemoth and delicious, with mouthwateringly good carne asada. But cheapos prefer the fat tacos, two of which will make a nice meal; or else go for a basket of 'chachos,' La Pasadita's take on nachos topped with grilled steak or chicken ($9).

The combination of cheap and delicious explains why twenty-something hipsters, grizzled old auto mechanics and Latinx families with kids all pile in to the retro booths here. It gets especially busy late at night.
